This story has been edited for length and clarity.
Finances have been a major challenge for us over the past few months, leading to a lot of second-guessing and miscommunication. It's particularly difficult when income flow is primarily from one side, and the other is not stable.
This has made communication feel one-sided. There’s always this tiredness and mental stress that comes with trying to come up with a workable budget while also keeping the home running, especially for groceries and daily needs.
The Turning Point
It hasn't been an easy journey, truthfully. But we’ve learned to take it a step at a time, trusting that our heavenly Father won’t leave us stranded. We aren't there yet, but we are not where we used to be. It's been a stretching period, a time where everything we believe about God being our source and sustainer has been tried and tested. Still, we judge God faithful because He is.
Where We Are Now
We've learned a lot. Trusting God even when it looks like there's nothing to hold on to has been an amazing experience.
